The Mystic Mother Retreat takes place during the depth of the Northern Winter. At a time when we experience profound quiet, snow covered stillness, and the invigoration of chilled breath, we gather. This retreat was founded on a literal dream. I awoke from a deep sleep with the vision of a bear, blooming and shimmering with color against a winter sky. This is so metaphorical for what this retreat would become. A splash of color against a fresh canvas, a vibrant circle of folks joining in community wrapped in blankets, kindness, creativity, and curiosities.

In this circle we trust our needs. We celebrate individuality. We witness each other. We have deep conversation circles fueled by tea, coffee, and snackies. We move intentionally. We share stories. We create fearlessly. Mystic Mother is an incubation of rest. Resolution. Peace… and profound self-provocation.

In five nights strangers become community, hesitation falls away to creative play, clarity pushes out self doubts, the heart, mind and soul reinvigorate, and the body rests. This is a space of sacred nourishment. The essence of the Mystic Mother nourishes and incubates us so we don’t have to work so hard just “being” and instead we can just be.
